Company History and Background

Mohammad & Abubaker handicrafts & Manufacturing Company is registered with the Ministry of Commerce and Industries (MoCI) under license no. D-02-2242, Reg. 87183, and officially commenced business operations in Afghanistan in 2016. Prior to that, the company had been involved in the carpet-selling business in Pakistan since 2002. It returned to Afghanistan in 2017 and initiated its operations in 2017 with an initial investment of $20000.

Over the past few years, the business has demonstrated significant growth, experiencing an increase in production capacity, sales, and revenues. Additionally, it has secured contracts with various national clients. For the year 2024, the company has obtained contracts for 6,000 square meters of Kilim, 9,000 square meters of carpet, and 85,000 kilograms of wool yarn from its clients.
